Give ear238 to my prayer8605, O God430; and hide5956 not thyself from my supplication8467. 2 Attend7181 unto me, and hear6030 me: I mourn7300 in my complaint7879, and make a noise1949; 3 Because of the voice6963 of the enemy341, because6440 of the oppression6125 of the wicked7563: for they cast4131 iniquity205 upon me, and in wrath639 they hate7852 me. 4 My heart3820 is sore pained2342 within7130 me: and the terrors367 of death4194 are fallen5307 upon me. 5 Fearfulness3374 and trembling7461 are come935 upon me, and horror6427 hath overwhelmed3680 me.¹ 6 And I said559, Oh that5414 I had wings83 like a dove3123! for then would I fly away5774, and be at rest7931. 7 Lo, then would I wander5074 far off7368, and remain3885 in the wilderness4057.
