1 And Miriam4813 and Aaron175 spake1696 against Moses4872 because of182 the Ethiopian3571 woman802 whom he had married3947: for he had married3947 an Ethiopian3571 woman802.¹² 2 And they said559, Hath the LORD3068 indeed spoken1696 only by Moses4872? hath he not spoken1696 also by us? And the LORD3068 heard8085 it. 3 (Now the man376 Moses4872 was very3966 meek6035 6035, above all the men120 which were upon the face6440 of the earth127.)

4 And the LORD3068 spake559 suddenly6597 unto Moses4872, and unto Aaron175, and unto Miriam4813, Come out3318 ye three7969 unto the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150. And they three7969 came out3318. 5 And the LORD3068 came down3381 in the pillar5982 of the cloud6051, and stood5975 in the door6607 of the tabernacle168, and called7121 Aaron175 and Miriam4813: and they both8147 came forth3318. 6 And he said559, Hear8085 now my words1697: If there be a prophet5030 among you, I the LORD3068 will make myself known3045 unto him in a vision4759, and will speak1696 unto him in a dream2472. 7 My servant5650 Moses4872 is not so, who is faithful539 in all mine house1004. 8 With him will I speak1696 mouth6310 to mouth6310, even apparently4758, and not in dark speeches2420; and the similitude8544 of the LORD3068 shall he behold5027: wherefore then were ye not afraid3372 to speak1696 against my servant5650 Moses4872? 9 And the anger639 of the LORD3068 was kindled2734 against them; and he departed3212.

10 And the cloud6051 departed5493 from off the tabernacle168; and, behold, Miriam4813 became leprous6879, white as snow7950: and Aaron175 looked6437 upon Miriam4813, and, behold, she was leprous6879. 11 And Aaron175 said559 unto Moses4872, Alas994, my lord113, I beseech thee, lay7896 not the sin2403 upon us, wherein we have done foolishly2973, and wherein we have sinned2398. 12 Let her not be as one dead4994 4191, of whom the flesh1320 is half2677 consumed398 when he cometh out3318 of his mother's517 womb7358. 13 And Moses4872 cried6817 unto the LORD3068, saying559, Heal7495 her now, O God410, I beseech thee. 14 And the LORD3068 said559 unto Moses4872, If her father1 had but3417 spit3417 in her face6440, should she not be ashamed3637 seven7651 days3117? let her be shut5462 out2351 from the camp4264 seven7651 days3117, and after310 that let her be received622 in again. 15 And Miriam4813 was shut5462 out2351 from the camp4264 seven7651 days3117: and the people5971 journeyed5265 not till Miriam4813 was brought622 in again. 16 And afterward310 the people5971 removed5265 from Hazeroth2698, and pitched2583 in the wilderness4057 of Paran6290.
