1 Cry7121 aloud1627, spare2820 not, lift7311 up thy voice6963 like a trumpet7782, and shew5046 my people5971 their transgression6588, and the house1004 of Jacob3290 their sins2403.¹ 2 Yet they seek1875 me daily3117 3117, and delight2654 to know1847 my ways1870, as a nation1471 that did6213 righteousness6666, and forsook5800 not the ordinance4941 of their God430: they ask7592 of me the ordinances4941 of justice6664; they take delight2654 in approaching7132 to God430.

3 Wherefore have we fasted6684, say they, and thou seest7200 not? wherefore have we afflicted6031 our soul5315, and thou takest no knowledge3045?
