1 And God430 remembered2142 Noah5146, and every living thing2416, and all the cattle929 that was with him in the ark8392: and God430 made5674 a wind7307 to pass5674 over5921 the earth776, and the waters4325 asswaged7918; 2 The fountains4599 also of the deep8415 and the windows699 of heaven8064 were stopped5534, and the rain1653 from heaven8064 was restrained3607; 3 And the waters4325 returned7725 from off the earth776 continually1980 7725: and after the end7097 of the hundred3967 and fifty2572 days3117 the waters4325 were abated2637.¹

4 And the ark8392 rested5117 in the seventh7637 month2320, on the seventeenth6240 7651 day3117 of the month2320, upon the mountains2022 of Ararat780. 5 And the waters4325 decreased2637 continually1980 until5704 the tenth6224 month2320: in the tenth6224 month, on the first259 day of the month2320, were the tops7218 of the mountains2022 seen7200.²

6 And it came to pass at the end7093 of forty705 days3117, that Noah5146 opened6605 the window2474 of the ark8392 which he had made6213: 7 And he sent forth7971 a raven6158, which went forth3318 to3318 and fro7725, until the waters4325 were dried up3001 from off the earth776.³ 8 Also he sent forth7971 a dove3123 from him, to see7200 if the waters4325 were abated7043 from off the face6440 of the ground127; 9 But the dove3123 found4672 no rest4494 for the sole3709 of her foot7272, and she returned7725 unto him into the ark8392, for the waters4325 were on the face6440 of the whole earth776: then he put forth7971 his hand3027, and took her3947, and pulled her in935 unto him into the ark8392.⁴ 10 And he stayed2342 yet other312 seven7651 days3117; and again3254 he sent forth7971 the dove3123 out of the ark8392; 11 And the dove3123 came in935 to him in the evening6256 6153; and, lo, in her mouth6310 was an olive2132 leaf5929 pluckt off2965: so Noah5146 knew3045 that the waters4325 were abated7043 from off the earth776. 12 And he stayed3176 yet other312 seven7651 days3117; and sent forth7971 the dove3123; which returned7725 not again3254 unto him any more5750.

13 And it came to pass in the six8337 hundredth3967 and first year8141, in the first7223 month, the first259 day of the month2320, the waters4325 were dried up2717 from off the earth776: and Noah5146 removed5493 the covering4372 of the ark8392, and looked7200, and, behold, the face6440 of the ground127 was dry2717. 14 And in the second8145 month2320, on the seven7651 and twentieth6242 day3117 of the month2320, was the earth776 dried3001.

15 And God430 spake1696 unto Noah5146, saying559, 16 Go forth3318 of the ark8392, thou, and thy wife802, and thy sons1121, and thy sons'1121 wives802 with thee. 17 Bring forth3318 with thee every living thing2416 that is with thee, of all flesh1320, both of fowl5775, and of cattle929, and of every creeping thing7431 that creepeth7430 upon the earth776; that they may breed abundantly8317 in the earth776, and be fruitful6509, and multiply7235 upon the earth776. 18 And Noah5146 went forth3318, and his sons1121, and his wife802, and his sons'1121 wives802 with him: 19 Every beast2416, every creeping thing7431, and every fowl5775, and whatsoever3605 creepeth7430 upon the earth776, after their kinds4940, went forth3318 out of the ark8392.⁵

20 And Noah5146 builded1129 an altar4196 unto the LORD3068; and took3947 of every clean2889 beast929, and of every clean2889 fowl5775, and offered5927 burnt offerings5930 on the altar4196. 21 And the LORD3068 smelled7306 a sweet5207 savour7381; and the LORD3068 said559 in413 his heart3820, I will not again3254 curse7043 the ground127 any more for man's120 sake5668; for the imagination3336 of man's120 heart3820 is evil7451 from his youth5271; neither will I again3254 smite5221 any more every thing living2416, as I have done6213.⁶⁷ 22 While the earth776 remaineth3117, seedtime2233 and harvest7105, and cold7120 and heat2527, and summer7019 and winter2779, and day3117 and night3915 shall not cease7673.⁸
