1 And the LORD3068 said559 unto Noah5146, Come935 thou and all thy house1004 into the ark8392; for thee have I seen7200 righteous6662 before me6440 in this2088 generation1755. 2 Of every clean2889 beast929 thou shalt take3947 to thee by sevens7651 7651, the male376 and his female802: and of beasts929 that are not clean2889 1931 by two8147, the male376 and his female802.¹ 3 Of fowls5775 also of the air8064 by sevens7651 7651, the male2145 and the female5347; to keep2421 seed2233 alive2421 upon the face6440 of all the earth776.² 4 For yet5750 seven7651 days3117, and I will cause it to rain4305 upon the earth776 forty705 days3117 and forty705 nights3915; and every3605 living substance3351 that I have made6213 will I destroy4229 from off5921 the face6440 of the earth127.³

5 And Noah5146 did6213 according unto all that the LORD3068 commanded6680 him. 6 And Noah5146 was six8337 hundred3967 years8141 old1121 when the flood3999 of waters4325 was upon the earth776. 7 And Noah5146 went in935, and his sons1121, and his wife802, and his sons'1121 wives802 with him, into the ark8392, because of6440 the waters4325 of the flood3999. 8 Of clean2889 beasts929, and of beasts929 that are not clean2889, and of fowls5775, and of every thing that creepeth7430 upon the earth127, 9 There went in935 two8147 and two8147 unto Noah5146 into the ark8392, the male2145 and the female5347, as834 God430 had commanded6680 Noah5146. 10 And it came to pass after seven7651 days3117, that the waters4325 of the flood3999 were upon the earth776.⁴

11 In8141 the six8337 hundredth3967 year8141 of Noah's5146 life2416, in the second8145 month2320, the seventeenth7651 6240 day3117 of the month2320, the same2088 day3117 were all the fountains4599 of the great7227 deep8415 broken up1234, and the windows699 of heaven8064 were opened6605.⁵ 12 And the rain1653 was upon the earth776 forty705 days3117 and forty705 nights3915.

13 In the selfsame6106 day3117 entered935 Noah5146, and Shem8035, and Ham2526, and Japheth3315, the sons1121 of Noah5146, and Noah's5146 wife802, and the three7969 wives802 of his sons1121 with them, into the ark8392; 14 They1992, and every beast2416 after his kind4327, and all the cattle929 after their kind4327, and every creeping thing7431 that creepeth7430 upon the earth776 after his kind4327, and every fowl5775 after his kind4327, every bird6833 of every sort3671.⁶ 15 And they went in935 unto Noah5146 into the ark8392, two8147 and two8147 of all flesh1320, wherein834 is the breath7307 of life2416. 16 And they that went in935, went in935 male2145 and female5347 of all flesh1320, as God430 had commanded6680 him: and the LORD3068 shut him in5462.

21 And all flesh1320 died1478 that moved7430 upon the earth776, both of fowl5775, and of cattle929, and of beast2416, and of every creeping thing8318 that creepeth8317 upon the earth776, and every man120: 22 All in whose nostrils639 was the breath5397 7307 of life2416, of all that was in the dry2724 land, died4191.⁷ 23 And every living substance3351 was destroyed4229 which was upon the face6440 of the ground127, both man120, and cattle929, and the creeping things7431, and the fowl5775 of the heaven8064; and they were destroyed4229 from the earth776: and Noah5146 only389 remained7604 alive, and they that834 were with him in the ark8392. 24 And the waters4325 prevailed1396 upon the earth776 an hundred3967 and fifty2572 days3117.
