Ezekiel 39 – Studienbibel

1 Therefore, thou son1121 of man120, prophesy5012 against Gog1463, and say559, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog1463, the chief7218 prince5387 of Meshech4902 and Tubal8422: 2 And I will turn thee back7725, and leave but the sixth part8338 of thee, and will cause thee to come up5927 from the north6828 parts3411, and will bring935 thee upon the mountains2022 of Israel3478:¹² 3 And I will smite5221 thy bow7198 out of thy left8040 hand3027, and will cause thine arrows2671 to fall5307 out of thy right3225 hand3027. 4 Thou shalt fall5307 upon the mountains2022 of Israel3478, thou, and all thy bands102, and the people5971 that is with thee: I will give5414 thee unto the ravenous5861 birds6833 of every sort3671, and to the beasts2416 of the field7704 to be devoured402.³⁴ 5 Thou shalt fall5307 upon the open6440 field7704: for I have spoken1696 it, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.⁵ 6 And I will send7971 a fire784 on Magog4031, and among them that dwell3427 carelessly983 in the isles339: and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.⁶ 7 So will I make my holy6944 name8034 known3045 in the midst8432 of my people5971 Israel3478; and I will not let them pollute2490 my holy6944 name8034 any more: and the heathen1471 shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068, the Holy One6918 in Israel3478.

8 Behold, it is come935, and it is done1961, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069; this is the day3117 whereof I have spoken1696. 9 And they that dwell3427 in the cities5892 of Israel3478 shall go forth3318, and shall set1197 on fire784 and burn5400 the weapons5402, both the shields4043 and the bucklers6793, the bows7198 and the arrows2671, and the handstaves3027 4731, and the spears7420, and they shall burn1197 them with fire784 seven7651 years8141:⁷⁸ 10 So that they shall take5375 no wood6086 out of the field7704, neither cut down2404 any out of the forests3293; for they shall burn1197 the weapons5402 with fire784: and they shall spoil7997 those that spoiled7997 them, and rob962 those that robbed962 them, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day3117, that I will give5414 unto Gog1463 a place4725 there of graves6913 in Israel3478, the valley1516 of the passengers5674 on the east6926 of the sea3220: and it shall stop2629 the noses of the passengers5674: and there shall they bury6912 Gog1463 and all his multitude1995: and they shall call7121 it The valley1516 of Hamongog1996.⁹¹⁰ 12 And seven7651 months2320 shall the house1004 of Israel3478 be burying6912 of them, that they may cleanse2891 the land776. 13 Yea, all the people5971 of the land776 shall bury6912 them; and it shall be to them a renown8034 the day3117 that I shall be glorified3513, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069. 14 And they shall sever out914 men582 of continual employment8548, passing through5674 the land776 to bury6912 with the passengers5674 those that remain3498 upon the face6440 of the earth776, to cleanse2891 it: after the end7097 of seven7651 months2320 shall they search2713.¹¹ 15 And the passengers5674 that pass through5674 the land776, when any seeth7200 a man's120 bone6106, then shall he set up1129 a sign6725 by681 it, till the buriers6912 have buried6912 it in the valley1516 of Hamongog1996.¹² 16 And also the name8034 of the city5892 shall be Hamonah1997. Thus shall they cleanse2891 the land776.¹³ 17 And, thou son1121 of man120, thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Speak559 unto every feathered3671 fowl6833, and to every beast2416 of the field7704, Assemble6908 yourselves, and come935; gather622 yourselves on every side5439 to my sacrifice2077 that I do sacrifice2076 for you, even a great1419 sacrifice2077 upon the mountains2022 of Israel3478, that ye may eat398 flesh1320, and drink8354 blood1818.¹⁴¹⁵ 18 Ye shall eat398 the flesh1320 of the mighty1368, and drink8354 the blood1818 of the princes5387 of the earth776, of rams352, of lambs3733, and of goats6260, of bullocks6499, all of them fatlings4806 of Bashan1316.¹⁶ 19 And ye shall eat398 fat2459 till ye be full7654, and drink8354 blood1818 till ye be drunken7943, of my sacrifice2077 which I have sacrificed2076 for you. 20 Thus ye shall be filled7646 at my table7979 with horses5483 and chariots7393, with mighty men1368, and with all men376 of war4421, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069. 21 And I will set5414 my glory3519 among the heathen1471, and all the heathen1471 shall see7200 my judgment4941 that I have executed6213, and my hand3027 that I have laid7760 upon them. 22 So the house1004 of Israel3478 shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068 their God430 from that day3117 and forward1973.

23 And the heathen1471 shall know3045 that the house1004 of Israel3478 went into captivity1540 for their iniquity5771: because they trespassed4603 against me, therefore hid5641 I my face6440 from them, and gave5414 them into the hand3027 of their enemies6862: so fell5307 they all by the sword2719. 24 According to their uncleanness2932 and according to their transgressions6588 have I done6213 unto them, and hid5641 my face6440 from them. 25 Therefore thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Now will I bring again7725 the captivity7622 7622 of Jacob3290, and have mercy7355 upon the whole house1004 of Israel3478, and will be jealous7065 for my holy6944 name8034; 26 After that they have borne5375 their shame3639, and all their trespasses4604 whereby they have trespassed4603 against me, when they dwelt3427 safely983 in their land127, and none made them afraid2729. 27 When I have brought them again7725 from the people5971, and gathered6908 them out of their enemies'341 lands776, and am sanctified6942 in them in the sight5869 of many7227 nations1471; 28 Then shall they know3045 that I am the LORD3068 their God430, which caused them to be led into captivity1540 among the heathen1471: but I have gathered3664 them unto their own land127, and have left3498 none of them any more there.¹⁷ 29 Neither will I hide5641 my face6440 any more from them: for I have poured out8210 my spirit7307 upon the house1004 of Israel3478, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069.
