1 And the word1697 of the LORD3068 came unto me, saying559, 2 Son1121 of man120, set7760 thy face6440 against Gog1463, the land776 of Magog4031, the chief7218 prince5387 of Meshech4902 and Tubal8422, and prophesy5012 against him,¹ 3 And say559, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog1463, the chief7218 prince5387 of Meshech4902 and Tubal8422: 4 And I will turn thee back7725, and put5414 hooks2397 into thy jaws3895, and I will bring thee forth3318, and all thine army2428, horses5483 and horsemen6571, all of them clothed3847 with all sorts4358 of armour, even a great7227 company6951 with bucklers6793 and shields4043, all of them handling8610 swords2719: 5 Persia6539, Ethiopia3568, and Libya6316 with them; all of them with shield4043 and helmet3553:² 6 Gomer1586, and all his bands102; the house1004 of Togarmah8425 of the north6828 quarters3411, and all his bands102: and many7227 people5971 with thee. 7 Be thou prepared3559, and prepare3559 for thyself, thou, and all thy company6951 that are assembled6950 unto thee, and be thou a guard4929 unto them. 8 After many7227 days3117 thou shalt be visited6485: in the latter319 years8141 thou shalt come935 into the land776 that is brought back7725 from the sword2719, and is gathered6908 out of many7227 people5971, against the mountains2022 of Israel3478, which have been always8548 waste2723: but it is brought forth3318 out of the nations5971, and they shall dwell3427 safely983 all of them. 9 Thou shalt ascend5927 and come935 like a storm7722, thou shalt be like a cloud6051 to cover3680 the land776, thou, and all thy bands102, and many7227 people5971 with thee. 10 Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time3117 shall things1697 come5927 into thy mind3824, and thou shalt think2803 an evil7451 thought4284:³ 11 And thou shalt say559, I will go up5927 to the land776 of unwalled villages6519; I will go935 to them that are at rest8252, that dwell3427 safely983, all of them dwelling3427 without walls2346, and having neither bars1280 nor gates1817,⁴ 12 To take7997 a spoil7998, and to take962 a prey957; to turn7725 thine hand3027 upon the desolate places2723 that are now inhabited3427, and upon the people5971 that are gathered622 out of the nations1471, which have gotten6213 cattle4735 and goods7075, that dwell3427 in the midst2872 of the land776.⁵⁶ 13 Sheba7614, and Dedan1719, and the merchants5503 of Tarshish8659, with all the young lions3715 thereof, shall say559 unto thee, Art thou come935 to take7997 a spoil7998? hast thou gathered6950 thy company6951 to take962 a prey957? to carry away5375 silver3701 and gold2091, to take away3947 cattle4735 and goods7075, to take7997 a great1419 spoil7998?

14 Therefore, son1121 of man120, prophesy5012 and say559 unto Gog1463, Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; In that day3117 when my people5971 of Israel3478 dwelleth3427 safely983, shalt thou not know3045 it? 15 And thou shalt come935 from thy place4725 out of the north6828 parts3411, thou, and many7227 people5971 with thee, all of them riding7392 upon horses5483, a great1419 company6951, and a mighty7227 army2428: 16 And thou shalt come up5927 against my people5971 of Israel3478, as a cloud6051 to cover3680 the land776; it shall be in the latter319 days3117, and I will bring935 thee against my land776, that the heathen1471 may know3045 me, when I shall be sanctified6942 in thee, O Gog1463, before their eyes5869. 17 Thus saith559 the Lord136 GOD3069; Art thou he of whom I have spoken1696 in old6931 time3117 by3027 my servants5650 the prophets5030 of Israel3478, which prophesied5012 in those days3117 many years8141 that I would bring935 thee against them?⁷ 18 And it shall come to pass at the same time3117 when3117 Gog1463 shall come935 against the land127 of Israel3478, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069, that my fury2534 shall come up5927 in my face639. 19 For in my jealousy7068 and in the fire784 of my wrath5678 have I spoken1696, Surely in that day3117 there shall be a great1419 shaking7494 in the land127 of Israel3478; 20 So that the fishes1709 of the sea3220, and the fowls5775 of the heaven8064, and the beasts2416 of the field7704, and all creeping things7431 that creep7430 upon the earth127, and all the men120 that are upon the face6440 of the earth127, shall shake7493 at my presence6440, and the mountains2022 shall be thrown down2040, and the steep places4095 shall fall5307, and every wall2346 shall fall5307 to the ground776.⁸ 21 And I will call7121 for a sword2719 against him throughout all my mountains2022, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD3069: every man's376 sword2719 shall be against his brother251. 22 And I will plead8199 against him with pestilence1698 and with blood1818; and I will rain4305 upon him, and upon his bands102, and upon the many7227 people5971 that are with him, an overflowing7857 rain1653, and great hailstones417 68, fire784, and brimstone1614. 23 Thus will I magnify1431 myself, and sanctify6942 myself; and I will be known3045 in the eyes5869 of many7227 nations1471, and they shall know3045 that I am the LORD3068.
