12 Honour3513 thy father1 and thy mother517: that thy days3117 may be long748 upon the land127 which the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee. 22 And the LORD3068 said559 unto Moses4872, Thus thou shalt say559 unto the children1121 of Israel3478, Ye have seen7200 that I have talked1696 with you from heaven8064. 23 Ye shall not make6213 with me gods430 of silver3701, neither shall ye make6213 unto you gods430 of gold2091. 24 An altar4196 of earth127 thou shalt make6213 unto me, and shalt sacrifice2076 thereon thy burnt offerings5930, and thy peace offerings8002, thy sheep6629, and thine oxen1241: in all places4725 where I record2142 my name8034 I will come935 unto thee, and I will bless1288 thee. 25 And if thou wilt make6213 me an altar4196 of stone68, thou shalt not build1129 it of hewn stone1496: for if thou lift up5130 thy tool2719 upon it, thou hast polluted2490 it.² 26 Neither shalt thou go up5927 by steps4609 unto mine altar4196, that thy nakedness6172 be not discovered1540 thereon.
