2 Und ihre Südgrenze war vom Ende des SalzmeeresSalzmeeres, von der Zunge, die sich gegen SüdenSüden wendet;2 And their southern border was from the end of the salt sea, from the tongue that turns southward;

4 und sie ging hinüber nach AzmonAzmon und lief aus an dem BacheBache Ägyptens; und der Ausgang der Grenze war nach dem MeereMeere hin. Das soll eure Südgrenze2 sein. -4 and passed on to Azmon, and went out by the torrent of Egypt; and the border ended at the sea. That shall be your border southward.

6 und die Grenze stieg hinauf nach Beth-HoglaBeth-Hogla und ging hinüber nördlich von Beth-ArabaBeth-Araba; und die Grenze stieg hinauf zum SteineSteine BohansBohans, des SohnesSohnes RubensRubens;6 and the border went up toward Beth-hoglah, and passed north of Beth-Arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben;
7 und die Grenze stieg von dem TaleTale AchorAchor hinauf nach DebirDebir, und sie wandte sich nördlich nach Gilgal3, welches der Anhöhe AdummimAdummim gegenüber liegt, die südlich von dem BacheBache ist; und die Grenze ging hinüber zum Wasser En-SemesEn-Semes, und ihr Ausgang war nach En-RogelEn-Rogel hin;7 and the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and turned northward to Gilgal, which is opposite to the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the torrent; and the border passed to the waters of En-shemesh, and ended at En-rogel;
8 und die Grenze stieg das TalTal des SohnesSohnes Hinnoms hinauf, nach der Südseite der JebusiterJebusiter, das ist JerusalemJerusalem; und die Grenze stieg zu dem Gipfel des BergesBerges hinauf, welcher vor dem TaleTale Hinnom, gegen WestenWesten, am Ende der Talebene der RephaimRephaim, gegen NordenNorden liegt;8 and the border went up to the valley of the son of Hinnom, toward the south side of the Jebusite, that is, Jerusalem; and the border went up to the top of the mountain that is before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of Rephaim northward;
9 und die Grenze zog sich herum von dem Gipfel des BergesBerges nach der QuelleQuelle des Wassers NephtoachNephtoach, und lief nach den Städten des GebirgesGebirges EphronEphron hin; und die Grenze zog sich herum nach BaalaBaala, das ist Kirjath-JearimKirjath-Jearim;9 and the border reached along from the top of the mountain toward the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and went out toward the cities of mount Ephron; and the border reached along to Baalah, that is, Kirjath-jearim;
10 und von BaalaBaala wandte sich die Grenze gegen WestenWesten nach dem Gebirge SeirGebirge Seir und ging hinüber nach der Nordseite des BergesBerges Jearim4, das ist KesalonKesalon, und sie stieg hinab nach Beth-SemesBeth-Semes und ging hinüber nach TimnaTimna;10 and the border turned from Baalah westwards toward mount Seir, and passed toward the side of Har-jearim, that is, Chesalon, northwards, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed Timnah.
11 und die Grenze lief nach der Nordseite von EkronEkron hin; und die Grenze zog sich herum nach SchikkeronSchikkeron und ging hinüber nach dem BergeBerge von BaalaBaala, und sie lief aus bei JabneelJabneel; und der Ausgang der Grenze war nach dem MeereMeere hin. -11 And the border went out to the side of Ekron northwards, and the border reached along toward Shicron, and passed mount Baalah, and went toward Jabneel; and the border ended at the sea.
12 Und die Westgrenze war das große MeerMeer und das Angrenzende5. Das war die Grenze der KinderKinder JudaJuda ringsum nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern.12 --And the west border is the great sea and its coast. This is the border of the children of Judah round about, according to their families.
13 Und KalebKaleb, dem SohneSohne JephunnesJephunnes, gab er ein Teil inmitten der KinderKinder JudaJuda, nach dem Befehle JehovasJehovas an JosuaJosua: die Stadt Arbas6, des VatersVaters EnaksEnaks, das ist HebronHebron.13 And to Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a portion among the children of Judah according to the commandment of Jehovah to Joshua, the city of Arba, the father of Anak, that is, Hebron.
14 Und KalebKaleb trieb von dannen aus die drei Söhne EnaksEnaks, ScheschaiScheschai und AchimanAchiman und TalmaiTalmai, KinderKinder EnaksEnaks.14 And thence Caleb dispossessed the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, who were born of Anak.
15 Und von dannen zog er hinauf gegen die Bewohner von DebirDebir; der Name von DebirDebir war aber vordem Kirjath-SepherKirjath-Sepher.15 And from there he went up against the inhabitants of Debir; now the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher.
16 Und KalebKaleb sprach: Wer Kirjath-SepherKirjath-Sepher schlägt und es einnimmt, dem gebe ich meine TochterTochter AksaAksa zum Weibe.16 And Caleb said, He that smites Kirjath-sepher and takes it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter as wife.
17 Da nahm es OthnielOthniel ein, der SohnSohn KenasKenas', ein BruderBruder KalebsKalebs; und er gab ihm seine TochterTochter AksaAksa zum Weibe.17 And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it; and he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.
18 Und es geschah, als sie einzog, da trieb sie ihn an, ein Feld von ihrem VaterVater zu fordern. Und sie sprang von dem EselEsel herab. Und KalebKaleb sprach zu ihr: Was ist dir?18 And it came to pass as she came, that she urged him to ask of her father a field; and she sprang down from the ass. And Caleb said to her, What wouldest thou?
19 Und sie sprach: Gib mir einen Segen; denn ein Mittagsland hast du mir gegeben, so gib mir auch Wasserquellen! Da gab er ihr die oberen Quellen und die unteren Quellen.19 And she said, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a southern land; give me also springs of water. Then he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
20 Das war das ErbteilErbteil des Stammes der KinderKinder JudaJuda, nach ihren GeschlechternGeschlechtern.20 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
21 Und die Städte am Ende des Stammes der KinderKinder JudaJuda, gegen die Grenze EdomsEdoms hin im SüdenSüden, waren: KabzeelKabzeel und EderEder und JagurJagur,21 The cities at the extremity of the tribe of the children of Judah, toward the border of Edom in the south, were: Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
22 und KinaKina und DimonaDimona und AdadaAdada,22 and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
23 und KedeschKedesch und HazorHazor und JithnanJithnan;23 and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Jithnan,
24 SiphSiph und TelemTelem und BealothBealoth,24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
