1 Das WortWort JehovasJehovas, welches zu HoseaHosea, dem SohneSohne BeerisBeeris, geschah in den Tagen UssijasUssijas, JothamsJothams, AhasAhas', HiskiasHiskias, der KönigeKönige von JudaJuda, und in den Tagen Jerobeams, des SohnesSohnes JoasJoas', des Königs von IsraelIsrael.1 The word of Jehovah that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
2 Als JehovaJehova anfing mit HoseaHosea zu reden, da sprach JehovaJehova zu HoseaHosea: Gehe hin, nimm dir ein Hurenweib und Hurenkinder; denn das Land treibt beständig HurereiHurerei, von1 JehovaJehova hinweg.2 The beginning of the word of Jehovah through Hosea. And Jehovah said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms, and children of whoredoms; for the land is entirely given up to whoredom, away from Jehovah.
3 Und er ging hin und nahm GomerGomer, die TochterTochter DiblaimsDiblaims; und sie ward schwanger und gebar ihm einen SohnSohn.3 And he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived and bore him a son.
4 Und JehovaJehova sprach zu ihm: Gib ihm den NamenNamen JisreelJisreel; denn noch um ein Kleines, so werde ich die Blutschuld von JisreelJisreel an dem HauseHause JehusJehus heimsuchen und dem Königtum des Hauses IsraelIsrael ein Ende machen.4 And Jehovah said unto him, Call his name Jizreel; for yet a little, and I will visit the blood of Jizreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.
5 Und es wird geschehen an jenem TageTage, da werde ich den BogenBogen IsraelsIsraels zerbrechen im TaleTale JisreelJisreel. -5 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jizreel.
6 Und sie ward wiederum schwanger und gebar eine TochterTochter. Und er sprach zu ihm: Gib ihr den NamenNamen Lo-Ruchama2; denn ich werde mich fortan des Hauses IsraelIsrael nicht mehr erbarmen, daß ich ihnen irgendwie vergebe.6 And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And he said unto him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, so that I should pardon them.
7 Aber des Hauses JudaJuda werde ich mich erbarmen und sie retten durch JehovaJehova, ihren GottGott; und nicht werde ich sie retten durch BogenBogen und durch SchwertSchwert und durch Krieg, durch Rosse und durch Reiter.-7 But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by Jehovah their God; and I will not save them by bow, or by sword, or by battle, or by horses, or by horsemen.
8 Und sie entwöhnte die Lo-RuchamaLo-Ruchama. Und sie ward schwanger und gebar einen SohnSohn.8 And she weaned Lo-ruhamah; and she conceived and bore a son;
9 Und er sprach: Gib ihm den NamenNamen Lo-Ammi3; denn ihr seid nicht mein Volk, und ich, ich will nicht euer sein.9 and he said, Call his name Lo-ammi; for ye are not my people, and I will not be for you.
