1 Und es geschah im sechsten JahreJahre, im sechsten Monat, am fünften des Monats: ich saß in meinem HauseHause, und die Ältesten von JudaJuda saßen vor mir - da fiel daselbst die Hand des HerrnHerrn, JehovasJehovas, auf mich.1 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month , on the fifth of the month, that as I sat in my house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, the hand of the Lord Jehovah fell there upon me.
2 Und ich sah: und siehe, eine Gestalt1 wie das Aussehen von FeuerFeuer: von ihren LendenLenden2 abwärts FeuerFeuer; und von ihren LendenLenden3 aufwärts wie das Aussehen eines Lichtglanzes, wie der Anblick von glänzendem Metall.2 And I looked, and behold, a likeness as the appearance of fire; from the appearance of his loins and downward, fire; and from his loins and upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the look of glowing brass.
3 Und er streckte das GebildeGebilde einer Hand aus und nahm mich beim Haarschopf meines HauptesHauptes; und der GeistGeist hob mich zwischen ErdeErde und HimmelHimmel empor und brachte mich in Gesichten GottesGottes nach JerusalemJerusalem, an den Eingang des ToresTores des inneren Vorhofs, welches gegen NordenNorden sieht, wo der Standort des BildesBildes der EifersuchtEifersucht war, welches zum Eifer4 reizt.3 And he stretched forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heavens, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entry of the inner gate that looketh toward the north, where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.
4 Und siehe, daselbst war die HerrlichkeitHerrlichkeit des GottesGottes IsraelsIsraels, gleich dem Gesicht, welches ich im TaleTale gesehen hatte.54 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the appearance that I saw in the valley.
5 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, hebe nun deine AugenAugen auf gegen NordenNorden! Und ich hob meine AugenAugen auf gegen NordenNorden, und siehe, nördlich vom ToreTore des AltarsAltars war dieses BildBild der EifersuchtEifersucht, am Eingang.5 And he said unto me, Son of man, lift up now thine eyes toward the north. And I lifted up mine eyes toward the north, and behold, northward of the gate of the altar, this image of jealousy in the entry.
6 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, siehst du, was sie tun, die großen Greuel, welche das HausHaus IsraelIsrael hier verübt, damit ich mich von meinem HeiligtumHeiligtum entferne? Und du sollst noch weiter große Greuel sehen. -6 And he said unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, to cause me to go far off from my sanctuary? And yet again thou shalt see great abominations.
7 Und er brachte mich an den Eingang des Vorhofs; und ich sah: und siehe, ein Loch war in der Mauer.7 And he brought me to the entry of the court, and I looked, and behold, a hole in the wall.
8 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, durchbrich doch die Mauer. Und ich durchbrach die Mauer; und siehe, da war eine TürTür.8 And he said unto me, Son of man, dig now through the wall; and I digged through the wall, and behold, a door.
9 Und er sprach zu mir: Geh hinein und sieh die bösen Greuel, die sie hier verüben.9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
10 Und ich ging hinein und sah: und siehe, da waren allerlei GebildeGebilde von scheußlichem Gewürm und ViehVieh, und allerlei Götzen des Hauses IsraelIsrael, ringsumher an die Wand gezeichnet.10 And I went in and looked, and behold, every form of creeping thing and abominable beast, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about.
11 Und siebenzig Männer von den Ältesten des Hauses IsraelIsrael, und JaasanjaJaasanja, der SohnSohn SchaphansSchaphans, in ihrer Mitte stehend, standen davor, jeder mit seinem Räucherfaß in seiner Hand; und der Duft einer Weihrauchwolke stieg empor.11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
12 Und er sprach zu mir: Hast du gesehen, Menschensohn, was die Ältesten des Hauses IsraelIsrael im Finstern tun, ein jeder in seinen Bilderkammern? denn sie sagen: JehovaJehova sieht uns nicht, JehovaJehova hat das Land verlassen!12 And he said unto me, Hast thou seen, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every one in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the land.
13 Und er sprach zu mir: Du sollst noch weiter große Greuel sehen, die sie verüben. -13 And he said unto me, Yet again thou shalt see great abominations which they do.
14 Und er brachte mich an den Eingang des ToresTores des Hauses JehovasJehovas, das gegen NordenNorden ist; und siehe, dort saßen die Weiber, welche den Tammuz6 beweinten.14 And he brought me to the entry of the gate of Jehovah's house that was toward the north; and behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
15 Und er sprach zu mir: Hast du gesehen, Menschensohn? Du sollst weiter noch größere Greuel sehen als diese. -15 And he said unto me, Seest thou, son of man? Thou shalt yet again see greater abominations than these.
16 Und er brachte mich in den inneren Vorhof des Hauses JehovasJehovas; und siehe, am Eingang des TempelsTempels JehovasJehovas, zwischen der HalleHalle und dem AltarAltar, waren fünfundzwanzig Männer, ihre Rücken gegen den TempelTempel JehovasJehovas und ihre Angesichter gegen OstenOsten gerichtet; und sie bückten sich gegen OstenOsten hin vor der SonneSonne.16 And he brought me into the inner court of Jehovah's house, and behold, at the entry of the temple of Jehovah, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of Jehovah and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
17 Und er sprach zu mir: Hast du gesehen, Menschensohn? Ist es dem HauseHause JudaJuda zu gering, die Greuel zu verüben, die sie hier verüben, daß sie auch das Land mit Gewalttat füllen und mich immer wieder reizen? denn siehe, sie halten das ReisReis an ihre Nase7.17 And he said unto me, Seest thou, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here, that they yet fill the land with violence, and keep provoking me afresh to anger? And behold, they put the branch to their nose.
18 So will auch ich handeln im Grimm, mein Auge soll nicht schonen, und ich werde mich nicht erbarmen; und rufen sie auch vor meinen Ohren mit lauter Stimme, so werde ich sie doch nicht hören.18 And I also will deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.
