1 Und das WortWort JehovasJehovas geschah zu mir im neunten JahreJahre, im zehnten Monat, am zehnten des Monats, also:1 And in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2 Menschensohn, schreibe dir den NamenNamen des TagesTages auf, dieses selbigen TagesTages! An diesem selbigen TageTage rückt der König von BabelBabel gegen JerusalemJerusalem heran.2 Son of man, write thee the name of the day, of this selfsame day: on this selfsame day the king of Babylon draws near to Jerusalem.
3 Und rede ein GleichnisGleichnis zu dem widerspenstigen HauseHause und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova: Setze den TopfTopf auf, setze auf, und gieße auch Wasser darein.3 And propose a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Set on the pot, set it on, and also pour water into it.
4 Tue seine Stücke zusammen darein, alle guten Stücke, Lende und SchulterSchulter; fülle ihn mit den besten1 Knochen.4 Gather the pieces thereof into it, every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones:
5 Nimm das beste2 Kleinvieh, und auch einen Holzstoß für die Knochen darunter; laß es tüchtig sieden, daß auch seine Knochen darin kochen. -5 take the choice of the flock; and also put a pile of wood under it, for the bones; make it boil well, and let the bones of it seethe therein.
6 Darum spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova, also: WeheWehe, Stadt der Blutschuld! TopfTopf, an welchem sein RostRost ist, und dessen RostRost nicht von ihm abgeht! Stück für Stück hole sie3 heraus; nicht ist über sie das Los gefallen4.6 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! Bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it:
7 Denn ihr BlutBlut ist in ihrer Mitte: sie hat es auf einen kahlen Felsen getan, sie hat es nicht auf die ErdeErde gegossen, daß man es mit StaubStaub bedecken könnte.7 for her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the bare rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust.
8 Um Grimm heraufzuführen, um Rache zu üben, habe ich ihr BlutBlut auf einen kahlen Felsen getan, damit es nicht bedeckt würde. -8 That it might cause fury to come up to execute vengeance, I have set her blood upon the bare rock, that it should not be covered.
9 Darum, so spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova: WeheWehe, Stadt der Blutschuld! Auch ich werde den Holzstoß groß machen.9 Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
10 Häufe das HolzHolz, zünde das FeuerFeuer an, mache das FleischFleisch gar und laß die Brühe auskochen, und die Knochen sollen verbrennen!10 Heap on the wood, kindle the fire, boil thoroughly the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
11 Und stelle ihn leer auf seine Kohlen, damit sein Erz heiß und glühend werde, und seine Unreinigkeit in ihm schmelze, sein RostRost vergehe.11 Then set it empty upon its coals, that it may be hot, and the brass of it may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, and that its rust may be consumed.
12 Die Bemühungen hat er erschöpft, und sein vieler RostRost geht nicht von ihm ab; ins FeuerFeuer mit seinem RostRost! -12 She hath exhausted her labours, yet her great rust goeth not forth out of her: let her rust be in the fire.
13 In deiner Unreinigkeit ist Schandtat. Weil ich dich gereinigt habe und du nicht rein geworden bist, so wirst du von deiner Unreinigkeit nicht mehr rein werden, bis ich meinen Grimm an dir stille.13 In thy filthiness is lewdness, for I have purged thee, and thou art not pure. Thou shalt no more be purged from thy filthiness, till I have satisfied my fury upon thee.
14 Ich, JehovaJehova, habe geredet. Es kommt, und ich werde es tun; ich werde nicht nachlassen und werde kein Mitleid haben und es mich nicht gereuen lassen. Nach deinen Wegen und nach deinen Handlungen werden sie dich richten, spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova.14 I Jehovah have spoken it : it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, nor will I repent. According to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 Und das WortWort JehovasJehovas geschah zu mir also:15 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
16 Menschensohn, siehe, ich nehme die Lust deiner AugenAugen von dir weg durch einen Schlag; und du sollst nicht klagen und nicht weinen, und keine Träne soll dir kommen.16 Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke; yet thou shalt not mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
17 Seufze schweigend, Totenklage stelle nicht an; binde dir deinen KopfbundKopfbund um und ziehe deine SchuheSchuhe an deine Füße, und deinen BartBart sollst du nicht verhüllen und BrotBrot der Leute nicht essen5.17 Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind thy turban upon thee, and put thy sandals upon thy feet, and cover not the beard, and eat not the bread of men.
18 Und ich redete zu dem Volke am MorgenMorgen, und am AbendAbend starb mein Weib. Und ich tat am MorgenMorgen, wie mir geboten war.18 --And I spoke unto the people in the morning; and at even my wife died. And I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19 Da sprach das Volk zu mir: Willst du uns nicht kundtun, was dies uns bedeuten soll, daß du so tust?19 And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, which thou doest?
20 Und ich sprach zu ihnen: Das WortWort JehovasJehovas ist zu mir geschehen also:20 And I said to them, The word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
21 Sprich zum HauseHause IsraelIsrael: So spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova: Siehe, ich werde mein HeiligtumHeiligtum entweihen, den Stolz eurer Stärke6, die Lust eurer AugenAugen und das Verlangen eurer SeeleSeele; und eure Söhne und eure Töchter, die ihr zurückgelassen habt, werden durchs SchwertSchwert fallen.21 Say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and your soul's longing; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind shall fall by the sword.
22 Dann werdet ihr tun, wie ich getan habe: den BartBart werdet ihr nicht verhüllen und BrotBrot der Leute nicht essen,22 And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover the beard, neither eat the bread of men;
23 und eure KopfbundeKopfbunde werden auf euren Häuptern sein, und eure SchuheSchuhe an euren Füßen; ihr werdet nicht klagen und nicht weinen, sondern werdet hinschwinden in euren7 Missetaten, und seufzen einer gegen den anderen.23 and your turbans shall be upon your heads, and your sandals upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall waste away in your iniquities and moan one toward another.
24 Und so wird euch HesekielHesekiel zu einem Wahrzeichen sein: nach allem, was er getan hat, werdet ihr tun. Wenn es kommt, dann werdet ihr wissen, daß ich der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova, bin.24 Thus Ezekiel shall be unto you a sign; according to all that he hath done shall ye do: when it cometh, then ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
25 Und du Menschensohn, siehe, an dem TageTage, da ich von ihnen wegnehmen werde ihre Stärke8, die FreudeFreude ihrer Pracht, die Lust ihrer AugenAugen und die Sehnsucht ihrer Seelen, ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter:25 And thou, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereunto they lift up their soul, their sons and their daughters,
26 an jenem TageTage wird ein Entronnener zu dir kommen, um es deine Ohren vernehmen zu lassen;26 that in that day he that escapeth shall come unto thee, to cause thine ears to hear it ?
27 an jenem TageTage wird dein Mund aufgetan werden gegen den Entronnenen, und du wirst reden und nicht mehr verstummen9. Und so sollst du ihnen zu einem Wahrzeichen sein; und sie werden wissen, daß ich JehovaJehova bin.27 In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him that is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb. So shalt thou be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
