8 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,8 Aber sie waren widerspenstig gegen mich und wollten nicht auf mich hören; keiner warf die Scheusale seiner AugenAugen weg, und von den Götzen Ägyptens ließen sie nicht. Da gedachte ich meinen Grimm über sie auszugießen, meinen ZornZorn an ihnen zu vollenden mitten im Lande Ägypten.	8 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,8 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: none of them cast away the abominations of his eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt. Then I thought to pour out my fury upon them, so as to accomplish mine anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.
9 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,9 Aber ich handelte um meines NamensNamens willen, auf daß er nicht entweiht würde vor den AugenAugen der NationenNationen, in deren Mitte sie waren, vor deren AugenAugen ich mich ihnen kundgegeben hatte, um sie aus dem Lande Ägypten zu führen;	9 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,9 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they were, in whose sight I had made myself known unto them in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

13 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,13 Aber das HausHaus IsraelIsrael war widerspenstig gegen mich in der WüsteWüste; sie wandelten nicht in meinen SatzungenSatzungen und verwarfen meine Rechte, durch welche der MenschMensch, wenn er sie tut, leben wird; und sie entweihten meine Sabbathe sehr. Da gedachte ich meinen Grimm über sie auszugießen in der WüsteWüste, um sie zu vernichten.	13 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they rejected mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them; and my sabbaths they greatly profaned: and I said I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.

26 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,26 Und ich verunreinigte sie durch ihre Gaben, indem sie alles, was die MutterMutter bricht, durch das FeuerFeuer gehen ließen: auf daß ich sie verwüstete⁵, damit sie wissen möchten, daß ich JehovaJehova bin.	26 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,26 and I defiled them by their own gifts, in that they devoted all that opened the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am Jehovah.
27 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,27 Darum, Menschensohn, rede zum HauseHause IsraelIsrael und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova: Auch noch dadurch haben eure VäterVäter mich geschmäht⁶, als sie Treulosigkeit gegen mich begingen:	27 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,27 Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In this moreover have your fathers blasphemed me, in that they have wrought unfaithfulness against me.
28 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,28 Als ich sie in das Land gebracht, welches ihnen zu geben ich meine Hand erhoben hatte, ersahen sie jeden hohen Hügel und jeden dichtbelaubten Baum; und sie opferten daselbst ihre SchlachtopferSchlachtopfer, und gaben daselbst ihre Ärger erregenden Opfergaben⁷, und brachten daselbst den Duft ihrer Wohlgerüche dar, und spendeten daselbst ihre TrankopferTrankopfer.	28 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,28 When I had brought them into the land which I had lifted up my hand to give unto them, then they saw every high hill and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering; and there they placed their sweet savour, and there poured out their drink-offerings.
29 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,29 Und ich sprach zu ihnen: Was ist das für eine HöheHöhe, wohin ihr gehet? Und ihr Name wird Bama⁸ genannt bis auf diesen TagTag. -	29 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,29 And I said unto them, What is the high place whither ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.
30 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,30 Darum sprich zum HauseHause IsraelIsrael: So spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova: Wie? ihr verunreiniget euch auf dem Wege eurer VäterVäter und huret ihren Scheusalen nach;	30 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,30 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Do ye defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers? and do ye commit fornication after their abominations?
31 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,31 und ihr verunreiniget euch bis auf diesen TagTag an allen euren Götzen durch das Darbringen⁹ eurer Gaben, indem ihr eure KinderKinder durch das FeuerFeuer gehen lasset! und ich sollte mich von euch befragen lassen, HausHaus IsraelIsrael? So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova, wenn ich mich von euch befragen lasse!	31 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,31 And when ye offer your gifts, making your sons to pass through the fire, ye defile yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day; and shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.
32 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,32 Und was in eurem GeisteGeiste aufgestiegen ist, wird keineswegs geschehen, daß ihr sprechet: Wir wollen sein wie die NationenNationen und wie die GeschlechterGeschlechter der Länder, indem wir HolzHolz und Stein dienen.	32 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,32 And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the nations, as the families of the countries, in serving wood and stone.
33 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,33 So wahr ich lebe, spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova, wenn ich nicht mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem ArmArm und mit ausgegossenem Grimm über euch regieren werde!	33 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,33 As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, will I reign over you.
34 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,34 Und ich werde euch herausführen aus den Völkern und euch aus den Ländern sammeln, in welche ihr zerstreut worden seid, mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem ArmArm und mit ausgegossenem Grimm.	34 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,34 And I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out;
35 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,35 Und ich werde euch in die WüsteWüste der Völker bringen und daselbst mit euch rechten von Angesicht zu Angesicht;	35 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,35 and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there will I enter into judgment with you face to face.
36 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,36 wie ich mit euren VäternVätern gerechtet habe in der WüsteWüste des Landes Ägypten, also werde ich mit euch rechten, spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova.	36 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,36 Like as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I enter into judgment with you, saith the Lord Jehovah.
37 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,37 Und ich werde euch unter dem Stabe hindurchziehen lassen¹⁰, und euch in das Band des BundesBundes bringen.	37 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.
38 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,38 Und ich werde die Empörer und die von mir Abgefallenen von euch ausscheiden; ich werde sie herausführen aus dem Lande ihrer Fremdlingschaft, aber in das Land IsraelIsrael soll keiner von ihnen kommen. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich JehovaJehova bin.	38 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me; I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
39 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,39 Ihr denn, HausHaus IsraelIsrael, so spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova: Gehet hin, dienet ein jeder seinen Götzen. Aber nachher - wahrlich, ihr werdet auf mich hören, und werdet meinen heiligen NamenNamen nicht mehr entweihen mit euren Gaben und mit euren Götzen.	39 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,39 As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Go ye, serve every one his idols henceforth also, if none of you will hearken unto me; but profane my holy name no more with your gifts and with your idols.
40 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,40 Denn auf meinem heiligen BergeBerge, auf dem hohen BergeBerge IsraelsIsraels, spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova, daselbst wird mir das ganze HausHaus IsraelIsrael insgesamt dienen im Lande; daselbst werde ich sie wohlgefällig annehmen, und daselbst werde ich eure HebopferHebopfer fordern und die ErstlingeErstlinge eurer Gaben, in allen euren geheiligten Dingen.	40 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,40 For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, there shall all the house of Israel serve me, the whole of it, in the land; there will I accept them, and there will I require your heave-offerings and the first-fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.
41 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,41 Als einen lieblichen Geruch werde ich euch wohlgefällig annehmen, wenn ich euch aus den Völkern herausführe und euch aus den Ländern sammle, in welche ihr zerstreut worden seid, und ich mich vor den AugenAugen der NationenNationen an euch heilige¹¹.	41 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,41 As a sweet savour will I accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you in the sight of the nations.
42 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,42 Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich JehovaJehova bin, wenn ich euch in das Land IsraelIsrael bringe, in das Land, welches euren VäternVätern zu geben ich meine Hand erhoben habe.	42 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,42 And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have brought you into the land of Israel, into the country which I lifted up my hand to give to your fathers.
43 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,43 Und ihr werdet daselbst eurer Wege und all eurer Handlungen gedenken, durch welche ihr euch verunreinigt habt; und ihr werdet Ekel an euch selbst empfinden wegen all eurer Übeltaten, die ihr begangen habt.	43 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,43 And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils which ye have committed.
44 ELB 1932: Hes. 20,44 Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich JehovaJehova bin, wenn ich mit euch handle um meines NamensNamens willen, und nicht nach euren bösen Wegen und nach euren verderbten Handlungen, HausHaus IsraelIsrael, spricht der HerrHerr, JehovaJehova.	44 Old Darby (EN): Ezek. 20,44 And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.

8 Aber sie waren widerspenstig gegen mich und wollten nicht auf mich hören; keiner warf die Scheusale seiner Augen weg, und von den Götzen Ägyptens ließen sie nicht. Da gedachte ich meinen Grimm über sie auszugießen, meinen Zorn an ihnen zu vollenden mitten im Lande Ägypten.

8 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: none of them cast away the abominations of his eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt. Then I thought to pour out my fury upon them, so as to accomplish mine anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

9 Aber ich handelte um meines Namens willen, auf daß er nicht entweiht würde vor den Augen der Nationen, in deren Mitte sie waren, vor deren Augen ich mich ihnen kundgegeben hatte, um sie aus dem Lande Ägypten zu führen;

9 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they were, in whose sight I had made myself known unto them in bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.

10 und ich führte sie aus dem Lande Ägypten und brachte sie in die Wüste.

10 And I caused them to go forth out of the land of Egypt, and brought them into the wilderness.

11 Und ich gab ihnen meine Satzungen und tat ihnen meine Rechte kund, durch welche der Mensch, wenn er sie tut, leben wird.

11 And I gave them my statutes, and made known unto them mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them.

12 Und auch meine Sabbathe gab ich ihnen, damit sie zum Denkzeichen wären zwischen mir und ihnen, auf daß sie wissen² möchten, daß ich Jehova bin, der sie heiligt³. -

12 And I also gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am Jehovah that hallow them.

13 Aber das Haus Israel war widerspenstig gegen mich in der Wüste; sie wandelten nicht in meinen Satzungen und verwarfen meine Rechte, durch welche der Mensch, wenn er sie tut, leben wird; und sie entweihten meine Sabbathe sehr. Da gedachte ich meinen Grimm über sie auszugießen in der Wüste, um sie zu vernichten.

13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they rejected mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them; and my sabbaths they greatly profaned: and I said I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.

14 Aber ich handelte um meines Namens willen, auf daß er nicht entweiht würde vor den Augen der Nationen, vor deren Augen ich sie ausgeführt hatte.

14 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out.

15 Und ich erhob ihnen auch⁴ meine Hand in der Wüste, daß ich sie nicht in das Land bringen würde, welches ich ihnen gegeben hatte, das von Milch und Honig fließt; die Zierde ist es von allen Ländern:

15 And I also lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them , flowing with milk and honey, which is the ornament of all lands;

16 weil sie meine Rechte verwarfen und in meinen Satzungen nicht wandelten und meine Sabbathe entweihten; denn ihr Herz wandelte ihren Götzen nach.

16 because they rejected mine ordinances and walked not in my statutes, and profaned my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

17 Aber mein Auge schonte ihrer, daß ich sie nicht verderbte und ihnen nicht den Garaus machte in der Wüste.

17 But mine eye spared them so as not to destroy them, neither did I make a full end of them in the wilderness.

18 Und ich sprach zu ihren Kindern in der Wüste: Wandelt nicht in den Satzungen eurer Väter, und haltet ihre Rechte nicht, und verunreiniget euch nicht mit ihren Götzen.

18 And I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk not in the statutes of your fathers, neither keep their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols.

19 Ich bin Jehova, euer Gott: wandelt in meinen Satzungen, und haltet meine Rechte und tut sie;

19 I am Jehovah your God: walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them;

20 und heiliget meine Sabbathe, damit sie zum Denkzeichen seien zwischen mir und euch, auf daß ihr wisset, daß ich Jehova bin, euer Gott. -

20 and hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am Jehovah your God.

21 Aber die Kinder waren widerspenstig gegen mich; sie wandelten nicht in meinen Satzungen und hielten meine Rechte nicht, um sie zu tun, durch welche der Mensch, wenn er sie tut, leben wird; sie entweihten meine Sabbathe. Da gedachte ich, meinen Grimm über sie auszugießen, meinen Zorn an ihnen zu vollenden in der Wüste.

21 And the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live by them; they profaned my sabbaths: and I said I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish mine anger against them in the wilderness.

22 Aber ich zog meine Hand zurück, und handelte um meines Namens willen, auf daß er nicht entweiht würde vor den Augen der Nationen, vor deren Augen ich sie ausgeführt hatte.

22 But I withdrew my hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out.

23 Auch erhob ich ihnen meine Hand in der Wüste, daß ich sie unter die Nationen versprengen und sie in die Länder zerstreuen würde,

23 I lifted up my hand also unto them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations, and disperse them through the countries;

24 weil sie meine Rechte nicht taten und meine Satzungen verwarfen und meine Sabbathe entweihten, und ihre Augen hinter den Götzen ihrer Väter her waren.

24 because they performed not mine ordinances, and rejected my statutes, and profaned my sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.

25 Und auch ich gab ihnen Satzungen, die nicht gut waren, und Rechte, durch welche sie nicht leben konnten.

25 And I also gave them statutes that were not good, and ordinances whereby they should not live;

26 Und ich verunreinigte sie durch ihre Gaben, indem sie alles, was die Mutter bricht, durch das Feuer gehen ließen: auf daß ich sie verwüstete⁵, damit sie wissen möchten, daß ich Jehova bin.

26 and I defiled them by their own gifts, in that they devoted all that opened the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am Jehovah.

27 Darum, Menschensohn, rede zum Hause Israel und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Auch noch dadurch haben eure Väter mich geschmäht⁶, als sie Treulosigkeit gegen mich begingen:

27 Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In this moreover have your fathers blasphemed me, in that they have wrought unfaithfulness against me.

28 Als ich sie in das Land gebracht, welches ihnen zu geben ich meine Hand erhoben hatte, ersahen sie jeden hohen Hügel und jeden dichtbelaubten Baum; und sie opferten daselbst ihre Schlachtopfer, und gaben daselbst ihre Ärger erregenden Opfergaben⁷, und brachten daselbst den Duft ihrer Wohlgerüche dar, und spendeten daselbst ihre Trankopfer.

28 When I had brought them into the land which I had lifted up my hand to give unto them, then they saw every high hill and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering; and there they placed their sweet savour, and there poured out their drink-offerings.

29 Und ich sprach zu ihnen: Was ist das für eine Höhe, wohin ihr gehet? Und ihr Name wird Bama⁸ genannt bis auf diesen Tag. -

29 And I said unto them, What is the high place whither ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.

30 Darum sprich zum Hause Israel: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Wie? ihr verunreiniget euch auf dem Wege eurer Väter und huret ihren Scheusalen nach;

30 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Do ye defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers? and do ye commit fornication after their abominations?

31 und ihr verunreiniget euch bis auf diesen Tag an allen euren Götzen durch das Darbringen⁹ eurer Gaben, indem ihr eure Kinder durch das Feuer gehen lasset! und ich sollte mich von euch befragen lassen, Haus Israel? So wahr ich lebe, spricht der Herr, Jehova, wenn ich mich von euch befragen lasse!

31 And when ye offer your gifts, making your sons to pass through the fire, ye defile yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day; and shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will not be inquired of by you.

32 Und was in eurem Geiste aufgestiegen ist, wird keineswegs geschehen, daß ihr sprechet: Wir wollen sein wie die Nationen und wie die Geschlechter der Länder, indem wir Holz und Stein dienen.

32 And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the nations, as the families of the countries, in serving wood and stone.

33 So wahr ich lebe, spricht der Herr, Jehova, wenn ich nicht mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem Arm und mit ausgegossenem Grimm über euch regieren werde!

33 As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, will I reign over you.

34 Und ich werde euch herausführen aus den Völkern und euch aus den Ländern sammeln, in welche ihr zerstreut worden seid, mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem Arm und mit ausgegossenem Grimm.

34 And I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out;

35 Und ich werde euch in die Wüste der Völker bringen und daselbst mit euch rechten von Angesicht zu Angesicht;

35 and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there will I enter into judgment with you face to face.

36 wie ich mit euren Vätern gerechtet habe in der Wüste des Landes Ägypten, also werde ich mit euch rechten, spricht der Herr, Jehova.

36 Like as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I enter into judgment with you, saith the Lord Jehovah.

37 Und ich werde euch unter dem Stabe hindurchziehen lassen¹⁰, und euch in das Band des Bundes bringen.

37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant.

38 Und ich werde die Empörer und die von mir Abgefallenen von euch ausscheiden; ich werde sie herausführen aus dem Lande ihrer Fremdlingschaft, aber in das Land Israel soll keiner von ihnen kommen. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin.

38 And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me; I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

39 Ihr denn, Haus Israel, so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Gehet hin, dienet ein jeder seinen Götzen. Aber nachher - wahrlich, ihr werdet auf mich hören, und werdet meinen heiligen Namen nicht mehr entweihen mit euren Gaben und mit euren Götzen.

39 As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Go ye, serve every one his idols henceforth also, if none of you will hearken unto me; but profane my holy name no more with your gifts and with your idols.

40 Denn auf meinem heiligen Berge, auf dem hohen Berge Israels, spricht der Herr, Jehova, daselbst wird mir das ganze Haus Israel insgesamt dienen im Lande; daselbst werde ich sie wohlgefällig annehmen, und daselbst werde ich eure Hebopfer fordern und die Erstlinge eurer Gaben, in allen euren geheiligten Dingen.

40 For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, there shall all the house of Israel serve me, the whole of it, in the land; there will I accept them, and there will I require your heave-offerings and the first-fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

41 Als einen lieblichen Geruch werde ich euch wohlgefällig annehmen, wenn ich euch aus den Völkern herausführe und euch aus den Ländern sammle, in welche ihr zerstreut worden seid, und ich mich vor den Augen der Nationen an euch heilige¹¹.

41 As a sweet savour will I accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you in the sight of the nations.

42 Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, wenn ich euch in das Land Israel bringe, in das Land, welches euren Vätern zu geben ich meine Hand erhoben habe.

42 And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have brought you into the land of Israel, into the country which I lifted up my hand to give to your fathers.

43 Und ihr werdet daselbst eurer Wege und all eurer Handlungen gedenken, durch welche ihr euch verunreinigt habt; und ihr werdet Ekel an euch selbst empfinden wegen all eurer Übeltaten, die ihr begangen habt.

43 And there shall ye remember your ways, and all your doings, wherein ye have been defiled; and ye shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils which ye have committed.

44 Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, wenn ich mit euch handle um meines Namens willen, und nicht nach euren bösen Wegen und nach euren verderbten Handlungen, Haus Israel, spricht der Herr, Jehova.

44 And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O house of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.
