1 Und es soll geschehen, wenn du in das Land kommst, welches JehovaJehova, dein GottGott, dir als ErbteilErbteil gibt, und du besitzest es und wohnst darin,1 And it shall be when thou comest into the land that Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein,
2 so sollst du von den Erstlingen aller Frucht des Erdbodens nehmen, die du von deinem Lande einbringen wirst, das JehovaJehova, dein GottGott, dir gibt, und sollst sie in einen KorbKorb legen und an den Ort gehen, welchen JehovaJehova, dein GottGott, erwählen wird, um seinen NamenNamen daselbst wohnen zu lassen;2 that thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which thou shalt bring of thy land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place that Jehovah thy God will choose to cause his name to dwell there;
3 und du sollst zu dem PriesterPriester kommen, der in jenen Tagen sein wird, und zu ihm sagen: Ich tue heute JehovaJehova, deinem GottGott, kund, daß ich in das Land gekommen bin, welches JehovaJehova unseren VäternVätern geschworen hat, uns zu geben.3 and thou shalt come unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto Jehovah thy God, that I am come unto the land that Jehovah swore unto our fathers to give us.
4 Und der PriesterPriester soll den KorbKorb von deiner Hand nehmen und ihn vor den AltarAltar JehovasJehovas, deines GottesGottes, niedersetzen.4 And the priest shall take the basket out of thy hand, and set it down before the altar of Jehovah thy God.
5 Und du sollst vor JehovaJehova, deinem GottGott, anheben und sprechen: Ein umherirrender1 Aramäer war mein VaterVater; und er zog nach Ägypten hinab und hielt sich daselbst auf als ein geringes Häuflein; und er wurde daselbst zu einer großen, starken und zahlreichen Nation.5 And thou shalt speak and say before Jehovah thy God, A perishing Aramaean was my father, and he went down to Egypt with a few, and sojourned there, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous.
6 Und die Ägypter mißhandelten uns und bedrückten uns und legten uns einen harten Dienst auf.6 And the Egyptians evil-entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage;
7 Da schrieen wir zu JehovaJehova, dem GottGott unserer VäterVäter; und JehovaJehova hörte unsere Stimme und sah unser Elend und unsere Mühsal und unseren Druck.7 and we cried to Jehovah, the God of our fathers, and Jehovah heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression;
8 Und JehovaJehova führte uns aus Ägypten heraus mit starker Hand und mit ausgestrecktem ArmArm und mit großem Schrecken, und mit ZeichenZeichen und mit WundernWundern;8 and Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt with a powerful hand, and with a stretched-out arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders;
9 und er brachte uns an diesen Ort und gab uns dieses Land, ein Land, das von MilchMilch und HonigHonig fließt.9 and he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey!
10 Und nun siehe, ich habe die ErstlingeErstlinge der Frucht des Landes gebracht, das du, JehovaJehova, mir gegeben hast. - Und du sollst sie vor JehovaJehova, deinem GottGott, niederlegen und anbeten vor JehovaJehova, deinem GottGott;10 And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruits of the land, which thou, Jehovah, hast given me. And thou shalt set it down before Jehovah thy God, and worship before Jehovah thy God.
11 und du sollst dich freuen all des Guten, das JehovaJehova, dein GottGott, dir und deinem HauseHause gegeben hat, du und der LevitLevit und der FremdlingFremdling, der in deiner Mitte ist.11 And thou shalt rejoice in all the good that Jehovah thy God hath given to thee, and to thy house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is in thy midst.
12 Wenn du fertig bist mit dem Abtragen alles Zehnten deines Ertrages im dritten JahreJahre, dem JahreJahre des Zehnten, und du ihn dem LevitenLeviten, dem FremdlingFremdling, der Waise und der Witwe gegeben hast, damit sie in deinen Toren essen und sich sättigen:12 When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thy produce in the third year, the year of tithing, thou shalt give it to the Levite, to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat in thy gates, and be filled;
13 so sollst du vor JehovaJehova, deinem GottGott, sprechen: Ich habe das HeiligeHeilige aus dem HauseHause weggeschafft und habe es auch dem LevitenLeviten und dem FremdlingFremdling, der Waise und der Witwe gegeben, nach all deinem Gebot, das du mir geboten hast; ich habe deine GeboteGebote nicht übertreten noch vergessen.13 and thou shalt say before Jehovah thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of the house, and also have given them to the Levite, and to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandment which thou hast commanded me; I have not transgressed nor forgotten any of thy commandments:
14 Ich habe nicht davon gegessen in meiner TrauerTrauer, und habe nicht davon weggeschafft als ein Unreiner, und habe nicht davon für einen Toten2 gegeben; ich habe der Stimme JehovasJehovas, meines GottesGottes, gehorcht, ich habe getan nach allem was du mir geboten hast.14 I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I brought away thereof in uncleanness, nor given thereof for a dead person; I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
15 Blicke hernieder von deiner heiligen Wohnung, vom HimmelHimmel, und segne dein Volk IsraelIsrael, und das Land, das du uns gegeben, wie du unseren VäternVätern geschworen hast, ein Land, das von MilchMilch und HonigHonig fließt!15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from the heavens, and bless thy people Israel, and the land that thou hast given us as thou didst swear unto our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey!
16 An diesem TageTage gebietet dir JehovaJehova, dein GottGott, diese SatzungenSatzungen und Rechte zu tun: so beobachte und tue sie mit deinem ganzen Herzen und mit deiner ganzen SeeleSeele.16 This day Jehovah thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and ordinances; and thou shalt keep and do them with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
17 Du hast heute dem JehovaJehova sagen lassen, daß er dein GottGott sein soll, und daß du auf seinen Wegen wandeln und seine SatzungenSatzungen und seine GeboteGebote und seine Rechte beobachten und seiner Stimme gehorchen willst.17 Thou hast this day accepted Jehovah to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and to hearken unto his voice;
18 Und JehovaJehova hat dir heute sagen lassen, daß du ihm ein EigentumsvolkEigentumsvolk sein sollst, so wie er zu dir geredet hat, und daß du alle seine GeboteGebote beobachten sollst;18 and Jehovah hath accepted thee this day to be a people of possession to him, as he hath told thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments,
19 und daß er dich zur höchsten über alle NationenNationen machen will, die er gemacht hat, zum Ruhm und zum NamenNamen und zum SchmuckSchmuck; und daß du JehovaJehova, deinem GottGott, ein heiliges Volk sein sollst, so wie er geredet hat.19 so that he should make thee high above all the nations which he hath made, in praise and in name and in honour; and that thou shouldest be a holy people to Jehovah thy God, as he hath said.
