1 Und Mose versammelte die ganze Gemeinde der Kinder Israel und sprach zu ihnen: Dies sind die Worte, die Jehova geboten hat, sie zu tun:

1 And Moses collected all the assembly of the children of Israel, and said to them, These are the things which Jehovah has commanded, to do them.

2 Sechs Tage soll man Arbeit tun, aber am siebenten Tage soll euch ein heiliger Tag sein, ein Sabbath der Ruhe dem Jehova; wer irgend an ihm eine Arbeit tut, soll getötet werden.

2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to Jehovah: whoever does work on it shall be put to death.

3 Ihr sollt am Tage des Sabbaths kein Feuer anzünden in allen euren Wohnungen.

3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your dwellings upon the sabbath day.
