Das sind die GeschlechterGeschlechter der ZorathiterZorathiter. -2 And Reaiah the son of Shobal begot Jahath; and Jahath begot Ahumai and Lahad. These are the families of the Zoreathites.
3 Und diese sind von dem Vater1 EtamsEtams: JisreelJisreel und JischmaJischma und JitbaschJitbasch; und der Name ihrer Schwester: HazlelponiHazlelponi;3 And these were of the father of Etam: Jizreel, and Jishma, and Jidbash; and the name of their sister was Hazlelponi;

8 Und KozKoz zeugtezeugte AnubAnub und ZobebaZobeba und die GeschlechterGeschlechter AcharchelsAcharchels, des SohnesSohnes HarumsHarums.8 And Koz begot Anub, and Hazzobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.
9 Und JabezJabez war geehrter4 als seine BrüderBrüder; und seine MutterMutter gab ihm den NamenNamen JabezJabez, indem sie sprach: Mit Schmerzen habe ich ihn geboren.9 And Jabez was more honoured than his brethren; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bore him with pain.
10 Und JabezJabez rief zu dem GottGott IsraelsIsraels und sprach: Wenn du mich reichlich segnest und meine Grenze erweiterst, und deine Hand mit mir ist, und du das Übel fern hältst5, daß kein Schmerz mich trifft! Und GottGott ließ kommen was er erbeten hatte.10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, Oh that thou wouldest richly bless me, and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God brought about what he had requested.
11 Und KelubKelub, der BruderBruder Schuchas, zeugtezeugte MechirMechir; er war der VaterVater EschtonsEschtons.11 And Chelub the brother of Shuah begot Mehir, who was the father of Eshton.
12 Und EschtonEschton zeugtezeugte Beth-RaphaBeth-Rapha und PaseachPaseach und TechinnaTechinna, den VaterVater der Stadt NahasNahas'; das sind die Männer von RekaReka. -12 And Eshton begot Bethrapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the city of Nahash: these were the men of Rechah.
13 Und die Söhne KenasKenas': OthnielOthniel und SerajaSeraja. Und die Söhne OthnielsOthniels: HathathHathath.13 --And the sons of Kenaz: Othniel and Seraiah; and the sons of Othniel: Hathath.
14 Und MeonothaiMeonothai zeugtezeugte OphraOphra; und SerajaSeraja zeugtezeugte JoabJoab, den VaterVater des TalesTales der WerkleuteWerkleute6, denn sie waren WerkleuteWerkleute. -14 And Meonothai begot Ophrah: and Seraiah begot Joab, the father of the valley of craftsmen; for they were craftsmen.

20 Und die Söhne SchimonsSchimons: AmnonAmnon und RinnaRinna, BenchananBenchanan und TilonTilon. - Und die Söhne Jischeis: SochethSocheth und Ben-SochethSocheth10. -20 --And the sons of Shimon: Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanan and Tilon. --And the sons of Jishi: Zoheth and Ben-Zoheth.
21 Die Söhne SchelasSchelas, des SohnesSohnes JudasJudas: GherGher, der VaterVater LekasLekas, und LaedaLaeda, der VaterVater MareschasMareschas; und die GeschlechterGeschlechter des Hauses der Byssusarbeiter vom HauseHause AschbeaAschbea;21 The sons of Shelah the son of Judah: Er the father of Lechah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of byssus-workers, of the house of Ashbea,
22 und JokimJokim und die Männer von KosebaKoseba; und JoasJoas und SaraphSaraph, die über MoabMoab herrschten; und Jaschubi-LechemJaschubi-Lechem. 26 Und die Söhne MischmasMischmas: dessen SohnSohn HamuelHamuel, dessen SohnSohn SakkurSakkur, dessen SohnSohn SimeiSimei.26 And the sons of Mishma: Hammuel his son, Zaccur his son, Shimei his son;
27 Und SimeiSimei hatte sechzehn Söhne und sechs Töchter; aber seine BrüderBrüder hatten nicht viele Söhne, und alle ihre Familien vermehrten sich nicht so sehr wie die Söhne JudasJudas.27 and Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters. And his brethren had not many sons; neither did all their family multiply like to the sons of Judah.

31 und in Beth-MarkabothBeth-Markaboth und in Hazar-SusimHazar-Susim und in Beth-BireiBeth-Birei und in SchaaraimSchaaraim. These were their habitations and their genealogical register.

40 Und sie fanden eine fette und gute Weide, und ein Land, weit nach allen Seiten hin, und ruhig und still; denn die vordem dort gewohnt hatten, waren von HamHam.40 And they found fat and good pasture, and a land widely extended and quiet and fertile, for they who had dwelt there formerly were of Ham.
41 Und diese mit NamenNamen Aufgeschriebenen kamen in den Tagen HiskiasHiskias, des Königs von JudaJuda, und sie schlugen ihre ZelteZelte und die Meuniter15, welche sich daselbst befanden; und sie verbannten sie bis auf diesen TagTag und wohnten an ihrer Statt; denn daselbst war Weide für ihr Kleinvieh. -41 And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their stead; for there was pasture there for their flocks.
